I understand Hound and Step. My husband truly, honestly, completely does not get the impact of his smoke. He's an affable, quiet
man who hasn't asked me yet "why are you staying in our bedroom all the time lately?"
Yes, he knows that I am near my weight goal and he's proud of that...but he doesn't put 2 and 2 together for a light bulb moment "Gee, maybe that's why she isn't fixing full meals lately!" He isn't blowing cigar smoke in my face, lol, but I just need to be away from all smoking until I get a few weeks under my belt. At our age we are not "huggy/kissy" very often but if I said "go brush your teeth and take a shower"...he would look at me like I'm nuts. Oh, yeah, the secret to long marriages is...don't try to communicate! DDD
