After working at his last employer for close to 20 years, husband was accustomed to having plenty of sick time, vacation time, personal days, etc. available so that it was never an issue if he wanted to take a day off here and there. Last Friday he decided that he was too tired to go in and so he called in sick. Well, turns out he didn't have enough sick time accrued yet to cover the whole day, so they are docking his pay to the tune of $500! Live and learn, I guess. I just wish his learning experiences weren't so expensive.
