well, one year ago we brought our son home from soberliving. It was risky, hard and tested how hard our boundaries were going to be.

He is sober now living his way. It's not about
Us approving or even dreaming that everything will be ok, it's about him finding his way and us working to accept that.

It's still hard. We will take him to dinner. Surprisingly , for now he is sober and looks healthy, at least a week ago. Perhaps this journey of his is part of the big plan no one can see.

Just some positive vibes please, it's been day on so many levels!!!

    God bless!

    Happy Birthday to your son!

Wishing you and your family the best today and always!

Our son turned 22 in rehab on Saturday. He is now again in sober living and goes back to work tomorrow.

Now he is carless (not careless LOL) so will ride his bike to work the 2 miles - big deal - momma walks that during lunch almost daily!!

He is sober for now, as is your son, and we are hoping and prying this time it sticks.

We never know what will make them turn the corner.

Well, we had a good time. He looks very healthy, on his medications and clean cut.

He lives with a poor girl friends family, because pigless he relapsed and we couldn't have it. He seems to have done it on his own at this point.

Not sure where his life is headed, but it was a happy day.

    ThAnk you

Take the day as a good memory and enjoy it and feel good about it. We have to live in the moment and not in "what if?" as it will only drive us insane! Take the good and leave the rest ..... happy for you and your son that you were able to have a nice birthday
