As awful as the idea of jail is (and I used to think I would die the first few times Difficult Child went to jail), there are comforts for us knowing they are "somewhere" where there is a support system (as compared to the street) and food and a place to sleep. Crazy that we would be grateful for jail, but many of us have been.</p><p></p><p>I hope this new year brings something new and something good just for you.
