Talked to difficult child tonight on the phone....

And he seemed really off. He was just all over the place and his voice had high and low pitches. He also rambled alot and I had a tough time understanding him. I told him to put an adult on the phone and I addressed my concerns and they were gonna have the nurse look at him and then call me back.. I waited but no call so I called back and they said its just the strep thats making him feel under the weather. I am gonna try to get ahold of his counseler tomorrow.

I would give them a call as well. Strep equals agitated behavior? Hmmm.

Absolutely strep can cause agitation. I hope he is being treated with appropriate antibiotics.

My difficult child 2's bipolar onset was triggered by a strep infection. If you google PANDAS you will find a host of information on how strep can affect the brain in susceptible people.
