Teacher Development Day Tomorrow

The kids have off from school tomorrow for a teacher development day. Seriously, I think this is a total waste of a day. Sometimes I think that the kids are off from school more than they're in class.

On a brighter note, difficult child had his first track practice yesterday after school and came home happy and telling me that he really likes it. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

I always dreaded those teacher development days! The teacher development days were always scheduled on Fridays, or on the day before a holiday, making the weekends extra long.

Interesting to have that in the middle of a week. Do you have to plan activities or can they hang out at home on those days? Glad to hear track is fun, hope it continues to be a good outlet for him.
