Another week under our belts! It's Friday!:yes:

:coffee: is brewed & I'm sipping my first cuppa of the day. I have a couple of errands to run this morning & then home for my beloved nap before kt gets home from school.

kt's in home therapist is due in this afternoon & after that she gets picked up for respite. :woohoo::jumphappy: The director of respite services has been watching the calendar; she specifically scheduled respite for kt this weekend so I can have some time alone with husband before I leave for Mayo next week. She also wanted me to have the time to visit with wm. God bless her. She's scheduled another girls weekend to include kt in 2 weeks just in case I'm still down at the clinic.

Here's to a relaxing Friday for you all. May all of your difficult children be cooperative & happy today. Find some "me" time over the weekend.

:good_morning:Happy, Happy, Happy Friday Morning!!!!!

Yes Linda, we made it through another week and it was a long one! The hour of sleep I lost every morning really matters!

Linda, nice that you and husband get a couple days before you go out of town. When will you be going to see wm? I guess husband will be going with you. Enjoy your nap today .

It is a balmy 58 degrees this morning heading up to 75 :playingball:. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last three days. Everyone is ready for spring to set in and easy child has been riding around with her top down (her car top that is)!

Gym is on the agenda right after dropping of difficult child, then the grocer, then gotta buggie home and shower quickly before the cleaning crew arrives around 11.

After that, it's probably costco then I'm done! Nothing on the agenda tonight or all day tomrrow!!! :bravo:

Wishing everyone a great Friday!

Good morning! :coffee:
Linda- How cool is it that the respite director will make the schedule work for your family! How long do you think you'll be at Mayo? We're sure going to miss you around here!:goodluck:
LDM- I've missed that hour too! I'm a little envious about the nice weather, though. We're still in the 30's. Sounds like you've got a handle on your day! :yourock:
I have my last fish fry prep for 2008 today, a few errands, Girl Scout Cookie stuff and Family Fun night at the school today. Have I mentioned how much I hate Girl Scout cookies? I'm pleased to report that Bible Study doesn't start up again until April. Plus, I have two weeks off from Sunday School due to Palm Sunday and Easter! Yay!!!!:its_all_good:

Have a great day! Hi to anyone that snuck in.

G'day, people.

Just a short note tonight, I've had a really long day. After a really long week.

Our daylight saving is still continuing - not sure when the clocks go back. It might be this weekend, but as I'm only lurching from day to day, I haven't looked that far ahead.

difficult child 3 & I went into the city today for his Science excursion. We went to the Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Wildlife World, really enjoyed both. But so much walking! I had decided to not take my scooter because it wasn't as far as Maritime Museum at the end of last year (when I was glad of my scooter) and also because I need the exercise, in my desperate attempts to lose weight.

We walked back afterwards, caught the train back to our car and then headed off to get the shopping done. It was a bit of a rush with doctor's appointments for me and difficult child 3 at the end of the day. The doctor said difficult child 3 now has a middle ear infection (prescribed antibiotics) and is NOT happy with my Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) problems still hanging around despite strong antibiotics. I'm going to have to somehow manage over the weekend with no antibiotics, hopefully hold together until we can talk to my specialists early next week.

And somewhere in there, we need to try to sort out easy child 2/difficult child 2. She's as sweet as pie tonight (I think she read my note to her; or is being sweet as her way of apologising - until next tantrum).

husband & I have a wedding to go to tomorrow evening. And it's already late tonight, so I'm signing off and going to bed.

Have a fun Friday, everyone. Saturday awaits...

Here we go again!
I am SO glad today has arrived :D

I'm enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee and the quiet now that difficult child's are off at school (husband is still snoozing -- three more weeks and he's back to work!) :coffee:

No doctor's appointments today! :doctor:

No school duties. :teacher:

Lots of neglected housework, but it will keep!

I'm going to play bunco at lunchtime with some girlfriends, then at 6pm going to another friends for good wine and even better conversation!:wine:

Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Friday everyone!
It is a lovely srping like day here, altho I do still have 2-3 ft mounds of snow in the yard. ANd we are gonna go back to wintery weather soon again, grrrr. LOL.

Today is special...it's my birthday, and my kids are being extraoordinarily wonderful!!!!
I did get some of the stuff rolling, should get more details about my poor liver Tuesday. See opthamologist Thursday (sjogrens, sicca syndrome, macular degeneration) .....still cannot find any doctor of any kind to see difficult child or accept her Medicaide. :-( grrrr.
husband blew off his doctor yesterday and today. Grrrr.
Leaving Sunday early to head south to sons eye surgeon, will be gone a few days. (Hey BBK, I will be closer to you) Actually made reservations at our hotel this time becuz I wanted to make sure I got their only room where they permit smoking. Becuz of the new IL laws-------used to be that was not a problem. - so I used to not make reservations.
Might even see my minister brother on the trip, (he lives near the eye surgeon and our reconciliation is slowly progressing)

The kids want to cook me brunch, they are upset cuz easy child has to work after school till 9, so not sure how to do dinner, cake, gifts, and it is driving difficult child and son nuts, LOL. They are trying so hard to have my day be their idea of "perfect". LOL.
Have a great day, a great weekend.
