ohmylordy, your witch hazel suggestion was a godsend...I went and bought all that the pharmacy had, poured thee bottles into the bottom of the tub and lolled around like a big ole whale  Than peewee and I sat on a blanket on the livingroom floor and "painted" each other with it. I added the smallest amount of food coloring to a couple different cups and we had a blast. Of course now we are polka dot sillies but oh man the itch is gone!!! Thank you thank you thank you :its_all_good:

I'm so glad you listened and tried it. I've told people this before and they looked at me like I had two heads and insisted it was going to burn.

I like the idea of painting each other with it. What a cool idea.

So glad your feeling better. I was feeling your pain, or should I say your itch :doctor:

In this case it was for chicken pox. I'm sure it would help soothe the itch of poison ivy also though. I find it's good for many things.
