OMG...my difficult child loves the MANUAL pencil sharpener...an electric one would keep him entertained for hours, as well. Buy pencils by the gross from oriental trading, and we'd be set...

The manual can be dangerous with our "don't think it thru" kids. I learned this after J came to me with her fingernail tore up and told me that she wondered what would happen if she tried to sharpen her finger! Since she didn't actually hurt herself, I find it rather funny.
