I remember this! I was about 13y.o. It was popular in Europe too. I sing it to husband when I'm feeling overgfged. Of course you all realize that there was no Napoleon beyond the IIIrd... When I was a kid, the French had something called "the sleeping cure", docs used to give those on the verge of a breakdown some kind of drug that would put them into a coma for a while. When they woke up all their problems were washed away. I WISH!!!
