Lisa, This is part of the problem for Q too. He hasn't figured out the private issue yet...heaven help me when he does....but he does fixate on certain girls. He sits next to them, follows them around, acts too silly, says inappropriate things. And he just gets so wound up that when he is given any direction, he panics, blurts anything, then if asked to calm down he flies off the handle. He desperately wants to be with the kids but it just gets to uncontrolled. Last summer was so great. I am really worried if we can't find a medication to help him with the anxiety/panic part of this we are going to spend it all indoors except for the structured activities. No more pool or socializing with the neighbors. Well we have a couple of months to work it out.
 
We had lots of issues with difficult child 1 when he was about Q's age too. When those male hormones kick in, they really kick in!! What an understatement!! Hoping the psychiatrist is able to find a medication to help Q...
