Fly away!
Ashlee and I made Marble Fudge cupcakes last night. Thank goodness we were chatting in the kitchen while they baked - and that her brain works better than mine - because she noticed smoke pouring out of the stovetop. We opened the oven and smoke just rolled out.
The cupcake papers almost caught on fire! I think another minute and they would have. They were almost completely black - but the cupcakes themselves weren't burned at all.
I've never had that happen before. We did everything right.
Later, we made more cupcakes using different cupcake papers and everything was fine.
Took a while to get the smell out of the house, though.....

I'm glad there wasn't a fire. Sounds like the oven temp was a bit too high for the liners.
