Strange, it's not there for me now either, just an image box with an X. I'll have to do some sleuthing.

Thanks Tanya great quote. I would add....to hold it together with your dignity and compassion and love still intact, perhaps even with your heart blown open into vulnerability.......now that is strength. Sometimes we close down in the face of turmoil and strife, chaos and pain........which is another form of giving up I think. But to stay open hearted and vulnerable, loving and respectful......that's pulling off a lot.

From The Gambler (Kenny Rogers, I think)

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

I used to think it was important to never give up. I've learned that sometimes, giving up IS the right thing to do. You have to know when and where and how - to either keep fighting, or to give up.
