Recently I've scored some turkey for cheap (breasts for $2.75 and a big fresh turkey for 49 cents a pound).

Until yesterday the only thing I've ever done with turkey has been traditional roasting and typical leftovers (sandwiches, stuffing casserole, soup) so I'm wide open to ideas. My family gets tired of that real fast.

Last night I used a meat rub with a zillion ingredients a few hours in advance that I usually use on pork. I was going to grill it but the grill wasn't working so I did it in the oven and then served with a homemade bbq sauce I tried out. My family really liked it and went through most of the turkey breast.

I got cute last December and made turkey stroganoff. You can also do turkey salad (like tuna salad, only with turkey). Turkey noodle soup. Stir-fry. Cut into pieces, batter, deep fry. Oven fry. Bake with pineapple. Marinate in A-1 "New York Steakhouse" flavor marinade then bake or grill (this stuff works on ANY kind of meat including fish and tofu)...

I get REAL bored with the same food over and over...
