Update on my friend

...the one who took off for a mo., gave the 21-yr-old guardianship of the 14-yr-old, and evicted the 24-yr-old.
She is back in town. Still hasn't talked to the oldest son.
She is back to homeschooling the youngest. (difficult child wanted to go there to play and we had to wait an hr until he finished math.)
She knows one of the kids was accessing her email so her boyfriend taught her how to encript emails.
I went to a movie with-her the other day (Mama Mia), which was a fun thing to do, and it also prevented me from telling her too much about difficult child, or accidentally saying something about her boyfriend.
So far, we're okay. And we're still in touch with-the boys.

No.
He's got a temporary computer contracting position in another state. All we can do is wait and see if he is asked to stay permanently, or if they do not renew the contract and he decides to come back here. He's used to moving around when his contracts are up so it's no skin off his back either way.
