Coincidence or Tenex related? Last night we doubled M's Tenex per psychiatrist's instructions and all reports seemed good so far...M's report from camp read no indication that he had any issues with listening or with peers and he then went on an little excursion with his grandfather who said he was wonderful. Then M wanted to invite his friend over...right before dinner time. I told him no...that by the time his friend got here, he'd have to turn around and go home. Then, in typical M style, he started cooking up his grand ideas about how he could make this work and turn my no into a yes and when that didn't work, he, rather than hold it together like he has been able to do since his last psychiatric hospital discharge, went into a complete VIOLENT RAGE! For about 30-40 minutes, he proceeded to throw things, smash things, and kick/punch/hit ME, husband, and even deliberatly once hit his little brother which is really out of character for him!!! He even BIT husband! Now, he's calm again, but it was NOT pretty at all. Total flash back to pre-medication days. I called psychiatrist and he wants us to give it a few more days and call him back on Friday. :::sigh::: I hope we survive vacation...we leave on Saturday for a week with husband's family.
