My DF was VERY proud to call me and tell me this weekend of his GRAND savings - he purchased cigarettes in BULK....and "SAVED" $63.00 for the month.

I mumbled that somewhere a villiage was missing their.....chimney. :faint:

Yes, that makes GREAT sense. UGH.

Sorry about husband - I keep telling DF it takes about 9 times to really get fed up enough with yourself to quit. I think this was try 5 for DF.

It really depends. My brother in law cannot quit despite having had bypass surgery. My mother quit cold-turkey twenty years ago. Hasn't smoked since.

husband quit in his early thirties after getting fed up with not being able to keep up with the "kids" on training runs.

He used no 'aids', but I am honestly glad he spent his withdrawal time in Korea, LoL.
