Yes, I know what you mean.
Our difficult child has such bad issues when he plays PS2 or anything related, that we told him he can never have one. Ever. He can buy himself one when he moves out on his own.
He was very gloomy about it for about 3 mo's but he got over it and realized life goes on. He also figured out which friends have them at their houses! Ack!
