Thank you. We need all we can get!

I made an appointment with-a diff psychiatric today. He's "just" a psychologist, not a neuropsychologist, but specializes in spectrum disorders. We're going to do interviewing AND testing and it's covered by ins.
I tried making an appointment at the children's hospital and they bounced me from dept to dept and guess what--I ended up with-the same psychiatrist referral I had for the aspie interview! NOT. I thanked them and hung up.

I'm going to do this first, and if necessary, go to VCU after the holidays.

Terry, it might take a few months to get an evaluation at VCU. If you are seriously considering having this done, you might want to put an application in, then cancel it later if decide not to go thru with it. There is no cost for that.
