I finally got my flute. My hand hurts from practicing today. I am so excited.
At Christmas we don't do a whole lot of gifts. We just tend to celebrate the season and just get some things for extended family. The kids at this point know how it works.
So we do gifts for taxmas. difficult child 1 is getting stuff for when she is ready for her apartment (kitchen stuff, towels etc). difficult child 2 can't have anything at this point. easy child got a Wii for Christmas from her father so we are getting her DDR and another controller etc.
husband and I were going to get stuff for the house. Yet we decided we wanted new computers more. And of course my flute, and I finally got new shoes.
It is a wonderful way to break up the monotony of the long winter with this. It also is so short lived and then boom back to the dollrums of life.
So yeah for taxmas.
