In my first pregnancy, I lived on TUMS (actually carried a bottle in my bag) and Whopper, Jrs. I could not eat anything else. We used to buy a couple at the drive thru every night and H would warm one up for me in the morning. I threw up constantly, including on to the subway tracks in Manhattan on more than one occasion. Second pregnancy, I drank diet soda constantly and it helped. Ironically, this pregnancy was my only daughter and the only child who never drinks soda! Third (difficult child), I craved grilled cheese sandwiches. difficult child does not like cheese. I didn't really have morning sickness with the 2 youngest. I will say that the prenatal vitamins were what made me puke in my first pregnancy. I refused to take them after that. Once I realized that they were the reason I was puking over the subway platform every morning within a half hour after I took the vitamin, I woke up and took them earlier so I could throw up before I left home. After awhile, I just stopped taking them.
