To commiserate.....that is soooo my husband, and always has been. Trazadone transforms him into a completely different person. First time ever I saw a medication work so darn well for someone. And funny thing is that it was prescribed for sleep not for depression. lol I wound up doing 99 percent of the father/son things with Travis. Good at them or not. He's just lucky his Mom was a tomboy growing up....so most of it I'm pretty good at. Neither of us could tolerate husband disappointing him after a while and it was just easier on everyone for Mom to stand in for Dad. Janet's made a valid point. Maybe his medications for depression and chronic pain aren't working well together. Maybe the medications he's on for one or the other aren't a good match for him. I like lamictal......alot. Awesome medication for bipolars, actually made for the disorder. I'm dealing with the same thing right now and husband is driving me near the edge. But we have no insurance which means we can't afford the doctor visit to get him back on the trazadone right now. ugh ((hugs))
