Autism?? Anywhere on this site as where to start??

A friend of mine is starting to think autism with her her 3 year old son. Never talked until 2 yrs old, then just stopped. He is 3.5 now. Just wondering if there is any info here on this topic, and a place for her to start at. Thx, Kathy

Also, she can check out the Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) questionnaire on http://www.childbrain.com. It's not officially diagnostic, but you can print the results and take them to someone who CAN make a professional assessment. At the least, it gives you a way to 'gel' your ideas.

Otherwise, just post. In practical, day-to-day terms, there are a lot of us dealing with this and we can help.
