Coping with not liking difficult child...peers shying away, what do we do...

Is he taking any sort of social skills classes or are you teaching him social skills from home? There are good books to read that explain social skills to children who are deficient in that area. Is he getting any help in school or the community? THAT in my opinion is what needs to be the focus right now.
