I'm not sure if I've seen an update recently.
I was wondering if easy child/difficult child was still in the Pod?
I hope things are progressing towards his release.

Blessings,
Melissa :flower:

Thanks for asking, Melissa. There has been no change. My focus
has been split for the past four plus weeks as my husband has been
under the weather, difficult child has been really wiggier than usual, the
HUGE fundraising event has fallen into my lap and...whine, whine.
business has been really off.

Saturday is the fundraiser and all the ducks are in a row with
only poor weather as a big concern. I have an expanded IEP meeting scheduled next week for difficult child. husband is going away to a Folk
School to learn how to make flies for flyfishing?? (my birthday
present to him that was planned two months in advance) SO...I
move into easy child/difficult child focus next Monday and try to make sure his 10/30
court date is uneventful.

Yikes. It's been R O U G H ! I appreciate the caring thoughts.

Sorry it's been so rough lately, DDD. Thanks Melissa for asking for news! I've been wondering, too, since I did see the last update and now I'm fretting for husband....Hope he bounces back to full speed and can enjoy his fly-tying getaway.

Then....YOU need YOURS! Where will you go to getaway? And what will you do for relax & rejuve? You certainly deserve it!

Peace

I'm listening to the local radio station that has a live feed
from the event. Sounds like it's right on target and I am sitting here like a proud "Mama" keeping my distance so husband and
his lady assistant can bask in the glory. Phew/Whew it is going
to earn at least four grand and...best of all...there are hundreds of people there having fun.

I feel like the day day after Christmas. That wonderful DEEP
exhale of relief!!!!!! DDD

PS: I hired a friend (girl) of easy child/difficult child's to hover and make sure
difficult child and husband are squared away. "I" may not be there but
LOL my Explorer is there with umbrellas (just in case) three
different sweatshirts (the weather may turn cool) extra pens,
balloons, scotch tape.......you know the "Mama stuff". Oh yeah,
an Ativan tucked in the glove box just in case difficult child needs it.

Sigh......just another day in the life of an old grandmother!

Radio signed off......it's history. Evidently LOL one church
group canoe crew said they had "Jesus" on board with them. A
second church group came in first and said they had a "silent
partner".

My "sitter" survived fine but difficult child (good heavens, that kid is going to be the end of me) decided to jump into the lake for
attention! Thank heavens I wasn't there!!!!!

LOL! I told her "have him sit on the stack of sweatshirts and
TAKE HIM to HIS Moms. Can you believe him? He is going to
SEVENTEEN tomorrow and with his AS and ADHD he might as well be
seven! Yikes. DDD

Glad to hear the outing was a success, DDD. I'm not surprised since you're such a great planner, my friend. I had no doubt it would be a hit.

As for difficult child, I'm glad you sent a helper so you didn't have to deal with things.

Hugs,
Deb

DDD, Sorry to come in so late but glad to see you are well and functiong at your peak as usual. The event sounds like alot of work but well worth it. I hope you can get a little rest now that is is over. sorry business is down but maybe it is just a lul before the storm. Try not to worry and use this quiet time to catch up on paperwork and other things you might have put off and renue yourself so when things pick up again you are refreshed. -RM
