In situations like this where my own difficult child wanted to handle things all on her own, there was usually more to the story than originally told. That's just my suspicious gut talking here, but I am thinking there may be more to this story with Dude as well. I hope that he's safe and that those people are kept on their toes while Dude remains in their custody. Still, my tummy is queasy over him being there altogether.
