Well, the Hibernator was up, took her medications, ate some pancakes, and I think has crawled back into bed. :S She had a hissy fit (luckily brief by comparison) yesterday, looks like this will be an up and down week for us, it's getting very obvious when her medications are wearing off. Again. Kid builds tolerance or intolerance to these medications like you wouldn't believe (well, y'all would believe, lol). Still no word on getting her referred to a specialist by psychiatrist (I'm really not liking that man but he's the only child psychiatrist in 3 counties that accepts her insurance), though there's a customer at work with an autistic son that is talking to the specialist his son goes to and going to see if she'll assess the kiddo without the referral. Talked to principal yesterday and she said the paperwork came in from psychiatric hospital visit (IEP stuff) and they didn't bother to list AS on the diagnosis. I still have no clue exactly what any of the docs are listing as the actual diagnosis other than ODD. *puts on the I am very not happy and bordering on PO'd face* Still no word on when kiddo will be screened for IEP or if they'll check her for AS vs NonVerbal Learning Disorder (NVLD) as I requested (in addition to their screening for emotional disability, which I'm now considering to be almost useless since they only have 3 things checked to screen her for in the subsection). Here's to hoping for a decent day for everyone.
