G'day, everybody. How is your Valentine's Day? We're still getting rain, about an inch in 48 hours. nothing too heavy but enough to keep the garden watered. I got some cooking done today, a little bit of painting and finally planted a couple of birds nest ferns into urns to put on either side of the front door. Gardening in the (light) rain makes the job easier, there's no need to water in the plants. husband & I were planning on having a coffee at one of the local cafés but by the time we got there all the shops had closed, so we came back home and turned on the coffee machine. We brought mother in law with us, she'd been cooking all day too, she baked easy child's wedding cake today. So we kept her with us and all had dinner together. I roasted a chicken and we had for dessert the tiramisu I prepared last night. husband just dropped mother in law back home. difficult child 3 has just gone to have his shower and go to bed. I'm enjoying the rain in terms of the moisture we need as well as the way the rainwater tank is filling, but it's been over a week now since I've been to the beach and I miss it. I'll be glad to share this rain with the people in Victoria. According to the forecast we should get some sunshine by Thursday. Enjoy your Valentine's Day. Marg
