G'day, people. Trinity, apparently there was a bad blackout in Sydney today, it took out a lot of traffic lights as well as the usual domestic power failures. In Sydney a lot of our heating in winter is electric, so a lot of people would have been very cold. I hope the twins enjoy the wading pool today. A great way to cool off! Jo, enjoy your girls' weekend. I just got home from choir practice, taught them a new carol tonight. We're getting ready for a July Yulefest concert (it's a southern hemisphere thing, for all those northern hemisphere people who don't like singing about snow and cold weather, in our summer). Tomorrow I'm taking niece's friend to the airport, she flies home in the morning. Then because it would be too much driving, niece & I are hanging around for six hours while we wait for her sister and mother to arrive. I'm planning on sleeping in the car if I need to, iPod at the ready. I still need to take things quietly, but circumstances do conspire against me sometimes. I'm leaving difficult child 3 at home, he got some schoolwork done today, hopefully he will do more tomorrow. The next day we drive to Canberra to spend the weekend with easy child & SIL1. mother in law, sis-in-law and her two girls are coming too. Enjoy your Wednesday. Marg
