G'day, folk. Sharon/WO, I'm assuming tilapia is a kind of fish? I hope the beer batter works well. Trinity, I'm glad your long distance co-worker has turned out to be so easy to work with. It makes it a much more productive session for everyone. Andy, difficult child's project sounds like a really good effort. He sounds like he really learned a lot while doing it too, which is good. TM, enjoy the warmer weather. I've gotmy cleaning, laundry & cooking day tomorrow. I've had a really busy day. I had two specialists to see and did some shopping in between. mother in law came along too for the ride, she pottered around at the mall while I walked over to the medical centre to see specialist No 2. Specialist no 1 was the rheumatologist - has cut back the prednisone a little but won't stop it. As a concession to concerns about side effects, he has ordered blood tests. Specialist No 2 said I look great, but my muscle tone is down and he's NOT happy. I have to go back in a month, it's unheard of for him to want to see me again so soon. I was his last patient, he spent an hour working me over. Lucky I know him well - it was still disconcerting to be told, "OK, strip off and get on the couch." Our weather is rapidly getting wintry. It wasn't too cold today but it was oscillating between watery sunshine and drizzle. Our overnight temperatures are rapidly reaching full-on winter levels. I'm anxiously watching the regional forecast to see what the weather will be like for easy child's wedding in just over a week. The ceremony is schedule to be under the trees by the lake and she's hoping it will be calm enough for her to arrive by her uncle's yacht. So far so good... husband is working on his speech at the moment. Today mother in law & I were making meal plans for when her daughter arrives with her family, for the wedding. A lot of people to feed. I've invited difficult child 1 & daughter in law, & easy child 2/difficult child 2 & BF2 for dinner tomrrow night. I have a lot of cooking to do, to get ready and have meals frozen for convenience for next week and our to-ing and fro-ing. The neurologist told me that simply standing at the stove cooking, is good exercise. I'm heading for a major workout tomorrow! Enjoy your Thursday. Marg
