G'day, TM and all to follow.
I'm glad Duckie has been enjoying the handwriting sessions. I hope it is helping. And you're feeling stiff too - I've been blaming mine on the cold weather, although it usually doesn't bother me. I saw the GP today, she was wondering if my medications are responsible.
It's cold. Last night the temperature here dropped to the lowest yet. Tonight is a close second. Brrr. Outside, it just began to rain. However, it's not going to last. Nope - it's stopping already. The radar shows a small patch right over us and nothing more.
husband is watching Jamie Oliver's program where he kills chickens. I pass. Cultural differences again - a show like that works differently for a British audience. I've taken guided tours through a chicken processing plant and still been able to eat chicken. I used to help my father do it on a backyard farm scale.
difficult child 3 has finally finished his film! And now, he's working on putting in some extra bells and whistles. Because this film is mainly to show that he can handle the technology, he's decided to not only show off the really good job he's done by burning to to a DVD, he's going to put in a "special features" section. He was even going to put in a range of subtitle options if he could. Cheeky brat. We've arranged with the school to drop in with the finished DVD on Friday, as we drive north. husband & I saw the finished film this evening for the first time and we want another two copies. One to take with us to show other family members and another, to take down to the train track next time for the blokes there. The film is about the special weekend they had there, when difficult child 3 filmed it.
Two days to go and then we're off for a week's break. No break for difficult child 3, though. Schoolwork follows him everywhere.
Tomorrow morning husband & I are seeing our pain specialist. mother in law is coming along because she needs to do some shopping. difficult child 3 has agreed to stay home to get more work done. Tomorrow - cold but dry. I'm actually looking forward to getting some things done.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
