G'day, all. Sharon/LDM, sorry you haven't had any snow yet. It sounds really warm for you where you are, considering it's winter. And congrats to difficult child for the art class, that's great news! Rabbit, it's an ordeal getting our kids enrolled in things. But it's always worth the effort. Hang in there, and consider getting a stamp made with her surname, then given names, in that order. You can dream about it saving you time! Artana, I hope you enjoy the alk with easy child's class. Warmer weathe, huh? SOunds like I'd better wring the last bit of enjoyment from summer, you guys will be wanting it back soon. It's really hot here, last night was unpleasantly hot and even with sheet thrown back, the ceiling fans only seemed to be rearranging the heat. We had to head in to the inner suburbs this morning, to get difficult child 3's eye pressures checked. Hallelujah, this time they were still high, but just within normal range, and matching. That means we don't have to worry, we were told. But the heat of the day mounted while we tried to get things done fast so we could head home. We made it home by 1 pm, having browbeaten the health insurance people on difficult child 1's behalf and then I began doing more research on his exorbitant insurance bill (for the car he hit last month). It could take several years to sort out this mess. But at least the more we find out, the better it looks. Even if he ends up in bankruptcy, and the insurance company won't want that. I gave daughter in law a phone number for a free legal service that specialises in tis sort of problem, they can see them one evening in a week or so. I also rang a bankruptcy advisory service, difficult child 1 is a perfect candidate for simply opting out of it all by declaring bankruptcy, he literally has nothing to lose. So hopefully, once the insurance company realise this, they will drop it all. After trawling through that muck, we needed a swim. The water was much colder, until the tide turned and began coming back in, then it seemed several degrees warmer. easy child & BF1 have arrived tonight but headed straight for bed. The sleepout has the benefit of the sea breezes, while our house is much slower to cool down. It looks like husband & I are in for another hot night. Hopefully we won't be quite so worried about difficult child 1. Enjoy your Friday, everyone. Marg
