Hi, I am just popping in for a few minutes. I need to pay more attention to other things in my life right now but you are always in my prayers. I had spinal surgery (neck) done last Wednesday. We travelled 70 miles the day before to the city my husband works in. When we checked in to our hotel (my mom and I) there was no power. By the time husband arrived we had power and we did find a place to get dinner. Surgery went well, but I am showing signs of more osteoporosis than was expected. I have titanium bolts and a titanium plate in my neck now. When we explained it to the kids Tyler was very thoughtful. Then he looked up and said, "Now we can call you FrankenMommy." All in all, surgery was the easy part. Recovery will be harder - I hate to be unable to do things!! Thanks so much for your good thoughts, bead rattling and prayers! They are much appreciated. I will get cards out later this week most likely, and I LOVE the cards I have gotten. Merry Christmas! Susie
