Hi Sandi and welcome to the CD board! You have come to the right place. Many of us have experienced what has happened to you. My 26-year-old daughter has stolen from us over the years and is currently kicked out of our home because of it. She is living in a halfway house after spending a month in rehab. You are lucky that she doesn't live with you. I would change all of the bank pin numbers and codes and stick with not letting her into your house for a while. When you do, lock up all of your valuables and computers. Please don't be embarrassed. These are your daughter's actions . . . not yours. There is a saying here and in Al-anon. . . You didn't cause it, you can't control it, and you can't cure it. Your daughter will have to make changes in her life and you need to just protect yourself at this point. We are here for strength and support. I couldn't do it without the wonderful people here. I'm sure more will come along with support and advice. ~Kathy
