I'm so afraid that if I take too long in the bathroom or if I watched a TV program he could slip off and hurt one of our younger kids. Telling us to just keep closer tabs on him is NOT the answer. We thought we had close tabs on him already, but apparently we didn't plan in emergencies where I needed to be out of the house and husband had to go potty. They won't put him in a residential treatment place due to the costs. We've asked for a grant package, but we were told it could take up to 6 months for it to go through. If we just turn him over to DCFS they've said it would hamper our adoption of my best friends kids. Anyone have any ideas?</p><p></p><p>(How's that for an introduction?! My name is Tonya, I have 8 kids, 6 adopted out of foster care and 2 that I will be adopting in September. They were my best friends kids, but she died of cancer last July.
