husband and difficult child were in a major spat over whose turn it was to pump gas... because BOTH want the job.
Yes, even at -40.
Because? At -40, the gas jockeys don't FILL it, they just let it run on "autopump" until it stops - its too cold to finish the job properly (although they make the same argument in the heat of summer, or in the rain, or...)
SO... if you want the job done right, you DO IT YOURSELF.
