He was mad at me tonight.
He was watching ABC Family and a "feed the children" commercial came on.
He came in the kitchen and explained to me how children were starving and dying and we needed to help. The proceeded to beg me to let him have a starving African child.
He promised to take care of it.
It isn't funny, but oh my...how do you counter that one???? That's a lose/lose.
I said no, we weren't getting a starving African kid. So he was mad at his heartless mother.

Maybe there's a way he can channel those feelings? I think it's important for our kids to feel empowered to act on things that move them, however small a way that is. One day it may lead to bigger things!
