Mid-winter break blues!

So, Duckie is off this week and, while not as difficult as a week ago, she is not exactly pleasant. I'm watching a friend's little girl today and Duckie has been horrid. She woke up this am at 7:30 and announced that she did not want anyone to play in her room.

Trust me, you do not want to hear that when a friend will be with you from 8:30 until 4pm!

The friend is quietly fighting back... slight taunts, etc.

...I think I'll have a nice glass of wine with dinner tonight.

Sounds like things have gotten off to a very bad start. I hope that there is a "neutral area" in which the girls can play....

There is no neutral area in a small house.

I did the only thing I could do: I bought a copy of HSM3 (just released today) and invited a 3rd friend over to watch it. Usually three is a crowd... but she seems to be running pretty effective interference between the other two.

Ugh. That does not sound fun. I'd be seriously looking at that wine glass for LUNCH!
