On December 11, easy child 2 was lying to us again about homework. I won't revisit it all, but her mom grounded her from video games for a month for lying to her and not doing her make-up work.
On Christmas, easy child 2 informed us she was no longer grounded. I checked in with her mom.
Mom just got back to me.
Yup. She's not grounded anymore because her grade has been brought up to a C-. Effective Dec 20. (um...I thought she got grounded for a month for not doing the work and lying about it, not for having a bad grade....hm....?)
So, anyway, have a good time, easy child 2. Video game to your heart's content! (also a very good example of what we are dealing with in regards to her mom - this is not an isolated incident).
Oh, yeah, and there are still 2 assignments not done...
And this is me, fingers in ears, eyes closed, shaking head, yelling blah blah blah blah. Cause I DON'T CARE! (ok, I care, but I'm not going to do anything about it.)
