The DSM-V due in 2012! This article is pretty interesting, talks about some of the possible disorders that could be added or merged... a lot is on the line as always for a lot of us and our kids.
Our psychiatrist1 Dr. Mani Pavuluri is on a team of researchers who are working on revising the DSM's section of Bipolar and adding Pediatric Bipolar. That would be so nice especially if it was accurate!
