The last semester Jana was in school was Spring of 2007. That Dec. her grandmother died. In Jan. her exbf (they were still talking) was killed in a wreck 15 minutes after he called her on the phone. In April her grandfather died. She withdrew from school---and took W's on her courses. Because of that, she is short hours even though her GPA is good. So, she re-enrolled for Fall 09. She was denied Financial Aid and had to appeal. They accepted her appeal with the stipulation that she only takes 7 hours---now, she is on academic probation for not having enough hours---but they won't let her take more hours---Does anyone see the irony in this?
