G'day, Linda, Sharon & all to follow. Linda, I hope the ophthalmology appointment isn't too unpleasant. Sometimes it seems life is just one long round of doctor appointments and paperwork. I'm taking easy child 2/difficult child 2 to the stomach specialist tomorrow. She's got another test to have first. Sharon, 47 degrees sounds almost civilised. I hope the fog isn't too nasty. As the temperature drops I suppose it gets worse? it does here. We had the high humidity condense out a bit this morning, with a lot of cloud around which never quite went away. husband had an appointment, so difficult child 3 & I shopped (birthday pressie for BF1) then husband joined us and we bought some much-needed clothes for him. That was our first post-Christmas sales shopping. Then we drove to Sydney airport to collect mother in law, flying in from Perth where she spent Christmas & New Year. I'm really beginning to feel the heat - not sure if it's menopause kicking in, having finally quit the HRT. I seem to be having "tropical moments" but it could just be because the weather IS a bit tropical at the moment. Right now I'm sitting here in my swimsuit late in the night, fan blowing, windows wide open, eating frozen mango nectar with a spoon. I wore my swimsuit all day (with a skirt) even in the mall. If we get home early enough after lunch tomorrow, it's back to the beach. Wish me luck! Marg
