I was just reading Maya Angelou quotes..............I recall that you are a fan of quotes, so these are for you: History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. At fifteen life had taught me undeniably that surrender, in its place, was as honorable as resistance, especially if one had no choice. The only thing is, people have to develop courage. It is most important of all the virtues. Because without courage, you can't practice any other virtues consistently. When a person is going through hell, and she encounters someone who went through hellish hell and survived, then she can say, 'Mine is not so bad as all that. She came through, and so can I.' There is another one which I recall someone here having on their bio, something like, "we did what we did, if we had known better we would have done better." You are not omnipotent Cedar, you cannot know the future and all the possible scenarios and how they might play out..............we make choices, and at the time, that's the best we've got to go on.............you did your best. You always do your best. Can you accept that truth? You did all you could. Remember that Brene Brown said, Abundance is not the opposite of scarcity, ENOUGH is. You did enough. You are enough. It is enough. You'e done enough. Enough.
