I have mother in law's and it really is great. They are a little different than most of the sugar cookies I've had. We don't roll the dough out too thin so they are a little thicker and more chewy than crunchy. Then we use the can of frosting mix (white), but dye half green and half red (well, it ends up more dark pink), to frost them. 1/2 cup crisco shortening 1 cup sugar 1 egg 3 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 3 tsps baking powder 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla ... oh, and I was supposed to say that the last ingredient is ... Invite husband over to sample them. :) Of course, if he shows up, you'll have to double the recipe (which we usually do because of him, lol). Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Mmmmmm, and I'm not a big cookie eater
