I've got the same problem even though I have several outside kitties. My dogs, the Bostons, are very good at catching mice, especially Ragan, and Katy just got her first one a few weeks ago. She was soooo proud of herself! They don't eat them but they carry them around in their mouth for a while and then spit them out. But that's why I can't use any kind of poison like Decon - the mice scatter the bait and the dogs might find it, or the mouse would eat it and then the dog would catch the mouse. And the mice have smartened up - the dogs can only get the mice on the floor, so now the mice run along the counter tops and inside the cabinets! Yuk! I know it's awful, but I do use the sticky traps because that seems to be the only way to catch them before they completely take over - it's them or me!
