Celexa is probably not good either if she is bipolar. Really.
Please find a psychiatrist that will listen to you about the bipolar. With depression I would think the first drug of choice to trial would be Lamictal. And maybe a mood stablizer like Seroquel that will help her sleep.
When we got my son on Lamictal it made a huge difference.
