Sharon, congratulations to your easy child on making the 5 pound mark. That's a great accomplishment, and it's hard to do when you have an active social life, WFEN, emotional fitness is a great goal. It seems that emotional and physical fitness go hand in hand, and strongly influence each other. Which resistance bands did you get? Did you go for the "chocolate" ones? This week I feel like I'm back on track. After falling right off the wagon into a giant pile of chocolate last week, I am back to healthy eating. I'm continuing to make progress with my Pilates exercises and I'm starting to incorporate some of the easier advanced exercises into the routine. I'm also looking around for dance classes in my neighbourhood, because I find that dance is effortless exercise. I have such a good time that it doesn't feel like work at all, but it does wonders for strength and flexibility. When I was 14, there was a 60 year old woman in my tap dance classes, and we all wished that we were as fit as she was. I want to be her when I grow up. husband has decided to take his weight loss efforts more seriously too. He is going to an obesity specialist, and he promises to follow all rules and stick to the program they give him. He's already made great progress on his own (about 65 to 70 pounds), but with about 150 lbs still to go, he realizes that he needs more help than my diet books can give him. I am so proud of him. All the best everyone, Trinity
