Janna,One werid thing that helped the boys esp Ken is building with his k'nex. The other thing that has improved is their ability to use board games esp longer lasting ones. We would slowly increase the length of the games. The best new one we found for a quick game that uses critical thinking skills is blokus.Hope this helps.Amy
