Actually I was weaned on college football. Right on the wall above my computer is a "blanket" that was presented to my Dad honoring him as a 1926 Booster of our University football team. The players in the 20's depended on boosters to feed them, lol, and this small group of young couples provided food and support. From the late 1940's until the 70's I rarely missed a game...either on radio or in the Bowl. It was like going to church on Sunday, lol, we never missed. My brother, sisters and I cried when the team won it's first National Championshp because we all knew that was Dad's dream...and we experienced it. Awesome lifetime high. The team has it's ups and downs but it IS OUR team thru the good, bad and the ugly. I've chilled in my senior years but the loyalty remains...just like death and taxes, lol. DDD
