Thanks for that, Star :) He's doing a little better each day, but still gets very fatigued and feels a little unsteady still. We went to have his staples removed yesterday, so now he can bathe on his own without worrying about the incision getting wet. I'm a little p.o.'d at him and his family right now, though. His parents were staying with us and helping out with light housekeeping and laundry, which was great. But after being here for about two weeks, they were getting bored and restless, so they announced yesterday that they were going back home to Texas. They took husband to breakfast this morning and then went to his sister's house, then drove back to our neighborhood to pick up husband and take him to lunch with his other sister (meanwhile, I'm stuck at home because of a previously scheduled installation of my new front door). I left at 2pm to go pick up my younger two from school and I'm thinking he should be home soon since he's still taking 4-6 hour naps during the day because of his fatigue. When I got home, there's a message telling me they "kidnapped" him to take him 40 miles south of here to a CASINO and not to expect him home until later TONIGHT. Now, these are the SAME parents who went so hog-wild in Vegas at Thanksgiving that they were bouncing their utility checks when they got home (they live strictly off one social security check, and it ain't much).... AND they cried "poor me" to husband when they were in Vegas so he pulled out $1,000 and blew it ALL. So I'm fuming... Aren't you glad you asked?
